Not Celtic park but the good old championship,23 games gone and we're in a great position.Shrewsbury fans must feel us breathing down their necks.
I'm very confident of promotion, next season worries me a tad,but all in all we should have a better chance th a n last season under coil.
Do we need to strengthen in jan?I think if we can get rid off Evans free up some wages then that would be a great help.I like the kid at Peterborough, Maddison. We missed out on Gayle from there last time.
Five points behind Wigan the title is still up for grabs,Tony Mowbray blue and white army.

Keep what we have and try and get in a right full back and a tricky winger. If we have time / money, get in a replacement for Ward and maybe a centre mid, although Lenihan / Tomlinson may be be able to step up to the plate there alongside Smallwood. If we can shift Ward then good, but no-one else seems to be an immediate liability that needs selling like Steele / Lowe were. We should be there or thereabouts with the squad / youngsters we have, but we may need that extra push to get us over the line into the top 2.

Have you forgotten that Feeney could be back in January? He's a liability if ever I saw one. At least I think he's out of contract at the end of the season. Although not as important I think it's time Conway was replaced too. His legs have gone now.

Feeney. Weird huh? Pretty useless for us but appears to be playing a part in Cardiff's promotion chase. Maybe just illustrates what a good football manager can achieve with any player.

He's only started twice for Cardiff and had 10 appearances as a sub out of 24 matches that Cardiff have played so he's hardly a fixture in the team, which is why I am worried that they will send him back and we will be stuck with his wages to the detriment of new players in the new year. Hopefully they will see something in him that he does not produce for us and they will keep him until his contract runs out. I live in hope.

Given what we know about Feeney's defensive capabilities that would suggest to me that Warnock see's him as an impact sub for the later stages of a game when a goal is needed. If he's swung a few matches then I'd imagine he might want to keep him. Alternatively if he's been given the go ahead to sign a few better players for the run in (highly likely) then he might have to send him back.

I don't think we need that much in January. Maybe a good centre half to push Downing and a good winger to push Bennett (Feeney would do me if he's been featuring at a title challenging Championship side). Not been that impressed with the centre midfield at times but Lenihan should be back soon.

Totally disagree on the criticism of Nyambe from what I've seen. Yeah he's a defensively rather than offensively strong full back but in a team who's forte is attacking thats what we need. Rovers debut at 17, semi-regular in the Championship last season at 18/19. Compare that to the much praised Nuttal and Chapman, impact subs for a League 1 side at 20. Nyambe will follow Lenihan soon in bigger clubs sniffing around him in my opinion.

Good result for us last night, wigan have dropped 4pts from the last 2 home games, If we capitalize today puts us even in a stronger position. On Nayambe I said last year rovers fans had a replacemet for lowe, one they can badger for no reason.what is It About home grown players, that the fans give them so much stick, even Wilcox got it?

Look on the bright side Al. If he returns either someone else will come in for him or maybe he'll surprise you. Like a number of others e.g. Williams, Nyambe, Evans, Antonnson and Downing he might find that in League 1 he's found his level.

I hope that I might be the exception to that rule waggy. I try to judge players on how I see them, how much ability they have, how much heart they have and how I'd fancy playing against them. Not on what some bloke near me in the crowd or in the pub afterwards says.

Maybe he will come, in fact his last match was a bit better, but Nyambe is not ready yet in my opinion and an absolute liability on corners. Feeney is complete crap and a waste of a shirt (and oxygen) (and he's not home grown).
