The BT Indian based help desk is appalling. They were pleasant enough but I could rarely understand what they were trying to say (I never lost it with them) and the advice was crap. I had advice off an Internet forum instead. Then the Indians kept phoning me up to ask how well they had done!!!! FFS
If I could ditch BT I would now. I have to have BT as the only Wi-fi we have is BT ISDN. As soon as we are uprated ( no idea when) I am off.
Bloody great vodka bar just a few yards off there. I can't tell you how many different flavoured vodka's are on offer there and with every bottle contained in one long refrigerated unit.

Precisely why I sacked BT as broadband provider .... and actually loved doing it! We had the slowest broadband ever where I live YET paid exactly the same as someone in town with superfast speeds! I made the decision to sack em off half a dozen years ago (and move to 20mb with Boundless) after waiting 40 minutes to speak to someone on the Indian sub-continent who a. I couldn't understand and b. couldn't understand me, before being transferred to some dept that didn't appear to exist necessitating me to go through the entire process again!
The worst imo being phone companies themselves! Why those companies (and I include the likes of vodafone etc) make it well nigh impossible for their own customers to actually contact them by phone beggars belief! This really is one of my favourite hobby horses!
Don't know about anybody else but the more businesses and commercial companies adopt these stupid time wasting and often costly telephone systems where it's almost guaranteed to offer a recorded message to "press options 1, 2, 3, 4" etc before getting through to yet another recorded message saying "please hold the line. We are currently very busy and one of our operators will answer your call as soon as possible" the more join my personal list of companies that I either refuse to ever deal with or avoid like the plague.
Banks and building societies too are now all on these central telephone systems making it well nigh impossible to speak to anybody that you actually know to discuss your financial affairs, and options are becoming very limited there too.
We need a national campaign for everybody to only deal with companies who pick up the phone within 3 rings and answer with a simple 'This is XYZ Limited, how may I help you today'?

Boundless is OK for me and Wave has recently made the lives of local people much better. You do need to be in the line of sight of one of their masts though.
