‘I You We Them’ by Dan Gretton on the advice of BB. Sounds a good book, I’ll put my views up when it arrives and I’ve read it.

It is a long read (1,000+ pages). However it is compelling and difficult to put down. It is about the ‘desk killers’ whose actions have resulted in many millions of brutal deaths rather than them doing the actual physical killings.

A must read for anyone who is interested in history and the backgrounds of these desk killers, the why rather than the what.

The author is a bit of a lefty but he is someone of principles and sound arguments.

‘My Father’s Paradise’ by Ariel Saba. The son now in the USA searches his father’s past in an enclave of Kurdish Jews in Iraq, an ancient civilisation and community now destroyed.

’The House by the Lake’ by Thomas Harding. A true story where the author returns to his grandmothers house on the outskirts of Berlin. Another stunning read.

Last book i bought(full price) was Tai Woffindens. Speedway. Great for all fans of the Sport.

Thanks BB and CWL . I don’t do anywhere near the amount of reading I should and when I do it tends to be cricket related . I got ‘ Ben Stokes on Fire ‘ and ‘ Stories of Cricket’s Finest Painting’ for Christmas, but not got round to reading them yet .
