Judge is a good shout but who would you drop?
Brighton's Shane Duffy and Josh King would walk into the team for starters. That's without a doubt.
Hoilet's another although his career has failed to match his ability, probably through his own stupidity.
Kalinic too and I even held quite a regard for Lucas Jaoa when he was here.

Not really bothered about either Hanley, Olson nor Mahony.

Yes we could if he's still got it in him. I doubt he'd fit in with Mowbray's team ethic though.

ha so I have to name who I would drop for a 20 goal a season goal machine because you don't want him yet you name some and don't do the same...I for one wouldnt have that scumbag duffy back for anything.....one thing Rhodes didn't do was score two delibrate own goals.

Duffy? It's obvious we are light on dedicated centre halves. Downing is poor and every club needs at least 3 quality CH's for the two positions. Not mentioned yet but Kean would be another decent shout.... odd that no one's mentioned Phil Jones btw. Defensive midfield preferred to CH but perhaps unnecessary now that Rodwell seems to be figuring more in that position.

King... miles better that anyone we have up front.... both now and back then! Balaji obviously shared your opinion and not mine when insisting Bowyer played Rhodes every league match. Poor Bowyer then had to stick King on the right wing and out of his preferred position roaming across the front line.

Hoilett .. interchangeable with Armstrong / Dack. The necessary 3 for 2 situation again.

Kalinic is a no brainer as we only have (imo) one quality target man. From what I've seen to date Brererton is no way a threat to DG's position.

Lucas Joao... wild card. Not top quality but his strength, control and unpredictability did trouble opposing defenders. Won't happen but I'd be quite happy to see Joao return to share duties with DG.


As for Rhodes scoring an own goal..... a rather difficult task for any tart liner I'd suggest. Can he even kick a ball 40 yards?:p

You sure that would work? Might do against a Div 1 or 2 team at home in the cup I suppose but Dack doesn't appear to have a tackle in him to combat the better midfields and I'm sure that the opposition would be happy that you are effectively taking him out of harm's way.

Nowt wrong with JR's finishing skills and I'd never claim that there was but I just got sick and tired of playing against the top teams with 10 men and a passenger.
