So, an assist and a goal all in 30 minutes against Stanley on top of the five goals against DARWEN last week was it? 92 career appearances and 34 goals show an eye for the back of the net. I think it’s safe to say he will now be in the first team squad under JDT but should he be starting?

Hes only under contract until June 30 2023 so in my opinion needs signing up pretty damn quickly. Being a Welshman and scoring three in nine U21 Wales games will put him more into the spotlight.
Of note is that he shares the same agency, Wasserman, as Big Ben.

I hope he will actually start some games now as he deserves it. One of things I got annoyed with Tony last season was that he didn’t give him the chance really.

I have seen him play for the u23’s and the Youth Team over recent years and have been very impressed. He is a good one and will hopefully go to the very top.

I'm always cautious with players doing well at youth level. The gap in level between that and the Championship is vast and its often much ado about nothing. Joe Nuttall being a prime example after he was the talk of Rovers online community for months. Still, good to hear players doing well as you never know.

First thing he did after signing was go and buy a massive Range Rover - His agent just rolled his eyes - enough said!

In a similar vein - When Paul Gallagher signed a much improved deal - Souness asked my mate what he was driving and was delighted to hear he was still driving his old allegro (or similar cant remember the model - but it was a banger)
