I only very very rarely boo and certainly not at ht. No footballer and no team want to play poorly and concede goals do they? Also people who boo are giving absolutely no credit to the opposition who have obviously set out to counter our tactics and then deny and frustrate us. When that is the case I expect our manager and coaching staff to have a plan on board for the second half to counter the situation and in turn overcome the opposition's tactical planning. That is why I cannot understand Managers who don't sit in the Directors box with a phone link to the dug out for the first half at least. The tactics are so much more obvious from up there. We have of late become a little of a second half team at home and have a dangerous habit of giving the other team a goal start which in the case of Oldham and Northampton has bitten us on the arse in terms of lost points. imo it would help if Mowbray could view the in-play situation and attempt basic changes during the first 45.

re: Bennett's aberration. We got away with it but we won't always. Having said that from behind and above I'd spotted Mulgrew as an option for the throw. Bennett just didn't throw it hard enough and Mulgrew was day dreaming a little and hadn't anticipated Bennett's intention. Also every credit to the Bury striker for his awareness. In our eagerness to apportion blame we need also to recognise the efforts of the opposition.

Crikey... clicked off here and onto the Lancashire Telegraph and Mowbrays addressing the exact same thing!

I can't disagree with anything he's said except that the balls to Danny Graham etc need to be played in much quicker. All too often we take a pass or a touch too many around the opposition box when many times it's better to take a gamble by not looking up and not telegraphing our intent and just knocking the ball across the penalty spot. I have confidence that our forwards have the quality to react much quicker than the opposing defenders. In truth that is where most of our goals come from now. OH! And that simple tactic worked a treat when Dalglish was in charge! I suggest that is the difference between having a striker versus a CH as Manager

Alternatively did anyone feel like applauding the team off at HT?
I certainly didn't but having said that Abbey has the right to criticise his fellow supporters because he was there. On the other hand if you weren't there please don't criticise the ones who were. The team will never hear YOU singing from your armchair.
