Glenn was the one who ran it properly and who was the only Admin that I respected, I think he had taken a back seat until Paul attempted to turn it into a Politburo style Dictatorship with his reviled jackboot rulings. Glenn was forced to return to steady what was then a sinking ship as Roversfans had started and captured a number of BRFCS members. By returning to elbow Paul aside and slap him down to backroom staff Glenn effectively stopped the rot and saved BRFC imo. I've no idea if he is still there.
There were a number of good people behind the scenes too (den, Ricky, Biddy etc) but (the chap who I had christened the Dark Lord) Paul strikes me as an unpleasant and mean bugger with an overriding left wing agenda. When I imagine Paul I think Momentum.
SteB, who I had initially met many years earlier in the Fernhurst (to discuss a 3 month ban by Paul) is not the nice lad that you think, he's fine face to face but otherwise is just an internet bully as far as I am concerned. Glenn had said that SteB wanted rid of me for years and only he (Glenn) had persuaded him otherwise, Birtwell had banned me many times before he hit me with a 6 month ban in Sept 2015 for conclusively proving one of the mods to be an intellectual derelict in private pm conversations. I'd posted more than anyone at that time too! (30,000 posts over very many years and one post attracts a 6 month ban by people who don't have the intellect to read a serious newspaper.) Anyway I'd had enough of being every new Billy Big Time mod's punchbag and so instead of returning I turned the tables and banned them! It was the only way to keep self respect and defeat them. I've never been back since. God only knows why Members who feel unjustly treated keep going back for more. 'Meadows' / Blue Eyed Boy being a case in point. I don't know if he still posts there but he was banned a number of times and still went back for more.
I will at this point throw BRFCS a lifeline by saying that running sites like this isn't easy and that we've had plenty of crap behind the scenes too. What started off as a band of brothers soon became riven by personality clashes. You prob all know the rest.
