This Saturday sees a break from the Championship with Rovers travelling up to Geordieville for a 5:30pm kick off in the FA Cup.

Apologies for this preview not being in the same league as BB's usual away game previews, no S&M Barbie or close-ups of Kate Garroway's assets (I have to admit that until recently I didn't realise she was 51 (years not bust!)).

Will ToMo take the cup seriously or play fringe players?
Will the fat Spanish waiter do likewise?
Do we want a replay?

Hard one to predict but I am going for a Rovers win 2-1.

Benitez has tended to play a weakened team against us in the past (and to his cost). Lets hope he does it again. It's a strategy that I can never agree with as imo it frequently serves as a de-motivator. However the best option for most clubs (and probably the preferred choice of most managers) is to get out of the FA Cup asap.

A good cup run will keep our season alive,i would expect rovers to play a strong team,Armstrong to bag a brace and a Mulgrew dead ball special barcodes 2-3 rovers.

I remember the days when the FA Cup was THE trophy that everybody wanted to win so I want to go as far as possible. Remember Wigan in 2013?

If we field a decent team then we can upset Toon, Charlie is their nemesis and he just needs to decide how to score, not if.

Toon are doable and then with luck in the draw all things are possible.

I loved it at OT in the semi that we deserved to win. Nothing better than a Wembley Final, or any Final for that matter!

It's a shame how the competition has been downgraded in the eyes of Clubs and Fans. I used to eagerly await the 3rd round draw knowing that it all got going first Sat in January.

It is still a competition that non top 6 PL and Championship and other clubs can aspire to do well in even is odds are the winners will be from the elite.

Meanwhile with inceased tv sales worldwide the FA are making more money from the Cup than ever before whilst paying Rovers and Toon a poxy 50k each tomorrow for being "chosen" for overseas tv.

Thanks for the preview WB . Much appreciated .

Previews and reviews are a tough gig when we have the best in the business in BB and Drog !

A winnable tie , but until I see the Rovers and Newcastle teams , it’s difficult to predict a result . So I’ll keep my powder dry until then .

I'm blushing prettily OOT!

Anyway, sorry to be a grump but I fail to get even mildly excited about a massively de-valued competition that we can't ever win.
On the other hand it's always well funny to see Geordies crying! :D
