Josh smith I Can't do with this bugger. He has firm too.
From last season.....
Ref Josh Smith 3 I've done a search and on only one occasion did I give this chap a half decent score. My most telling comment was that this chap should not be refereeing in the Championship and today's match was compelling evidence of this. Work this one out. possession 65:35 for the Rovers yet there were 12 fouls given against the Rovers and only 4 against PNE.

Referee Josh Smith... 3 Got lot's wrong and seemed a homer. Spends half his time reffing Leagues 1 & 2 ... and it shows. I'd rather not see this bugger again.
OK OK so I got the 'homer' bit wrong but the rest was bob on and he repeated his performance yesterday. He seems to me after two matches to be a Rovers hater. His Dad was a Referee and young Josh began refereeing at the age of 14, was accepted on the league list at 22 and is still only 29! Shouldn't he still be playing the game at that age? Suffice to say his lack of understanding of the basics through not playing shone through his performance all evening. Would that a necessary qualification for Referees was 10 years actually playing the game at a decent level before taking up the whistle.
I detest career refs every bit as much as I detest career politicians.
