Ok so life can be shit but then it was for us too when the Romans conquered us, the Vikings looted, murdered and raped their way across the British Isle and William the Conqueror chose the perfect time to launch an invasion and attack Harold's war weary and travel stained army. Do we whinge and moan? Not likely! We just shrug our shoulders recognise that we were second best at the time and move on. Walk a mile in our shoes mate.
I bear no guilt for history and I don't see why anyone else should, it's nowt to do with me or Charles. Lets be honest the aborigines were weak, they'd never had to repel an invasion and suffered defeat as a consequence. After being the poor man at the fag end of Europe the industrial revolution gave us the power and might to conquer the world. That is what made the wealth of this nation and allowed it to win conquest after conquest and in particular two world wars and defeat Hitlers 3rd Reich. Without our national spirit and strength of our armies the world would be run now by blonde haired, lantern jawed people in black uniforms.... and then all the black folk in the western world, all the muslims, the jews and indeed the aborigines would really have had something to protest about! The UK and it's allies saved the world from extreme white racism so maybe it would be wise for people to bear that in mind after being brainwashed by left wing educationalists and gobbing off so glibly and dare I say 'fashionably'?

Very well said Drog! Everyone's entitled to their opinion of course, but my patience has just about run out with all the victim groups living in the incredibly luxurious (by any standard throughout history) "western world" which Britain has largely created.
Everyone living in North America, Europe and Oceania in the 21st century is privileged, everyone living there is lucky. They all have the opportunity to make a success of themselves. Living in democratic societies that operate under a fair rule of law, where they get good education, can own their own property, have enough food, and are free to practice their different religions/customs.
Which is obviously why tens (if not hundreds at this point) of millions of people are trying to get there, legally or illegally, from other parts of the world.
As Drog mentions, victimhood doesn't seem to exist in native Brits, we notably used comedy to mock the very idea with the "What did the Romans ever do for us?" skit in The Life of Brian. A lot more attention-seeking victims in the western world should have a "What did the British ever do for us?" attitude, because they'd find its a hell of a lot.
