I watched that. In fact I might even watch it again! I thought at one time that Sturgeon was going to cry! I know I nearly did! :joy:
Little Nicola was blinking excessively under the onslaught and had that funny look women get on their face just before they are going to break down in a flood of tears! :laughing: Was she lying or was she on the verge of breaking down? Probably both imo.

Andrew Neil is currently providing the best and most incisive TV of the entire election process! He's merciless at exposing hypocrisy and attempts to deceive, no one is safe! Scintillating stuff last night, he must be so well researched behind the scenes mustn't he? His interviews are planned to perfection, he leads the interviewees on with a bit of flattery, gives them a false sense of security and then flattens them with a real sucker punch. He did it so often last night that Nicola must be punchy this morning. She's usually such a polished and confident performer in front of the cameras but Neill exposed her many failings ruthlessly. Her Majesty MUST have him down for a knighthood after last night's demolition of Sturgeon.
Anybody pro scottish independence who hasn't seen this should hide behind a cushion now.

Judaism is a tiny, declining religion. It keeps quiet under constant flack so is pretty much irrelevant to UK society and its bizarre as to why anyone would go out their way to criticise it.

Islam on the other hand will likely define this country for centuries to come. That it is both reluctant to modernise and can't be criticised is extremely worrying.

And to be honest it's becoming tiresome worrying about it whilst nothing is ever done. At this point I wish I could have the left's moronically naeive, blissfully ignorant attitude to it transplanted into my brain.

Good prog of telly last night about Austria under the Hapsburgs. The South Eastern european nations forcibly resisted the spread of Islam under the Ottoman Empire and kept europe free of the aggression and ambition of Islam for centuries. We owe them much, just as we owe the powers that have welcomed, aided and abetted large scale muslim immigration since the end of WW2 eternal damnation.

Which channel was that on Gord? Sounds a good watch.

I've always been interested in military history but my knowledge is sketchy and it's only recently I've noticed the Habsburgs peak power coincided with the rise of the Ottoman Empire and was wondering how that played out.

The Ottomans being stopped in Austria and the Moors in France a thousand years earlier are crucial moments in the formation of an affluent, progressive Europe. As you say, the idiots responsible for reversing that with mass immigration are unforgivable.

I was out last night so just watched the Corbyn interview on iPlayer.

Asked 4 times if he would apologise to the Jews and didn't.
Couldn't answer questions on where the money was coming from for his grand spending.
Said nobody earning under £80k would pay more tax and then was shown proof that people on only £14k could be paying more.
Taken to task on the payments to WASPI women, which isn't even in his costings and would incur another £60 billion of borrowing.
Wouldn't agree that he would kill the leader of a terrorist organisation that is a threat to the UK because "we have to look at why these organisations come into being in the first place".

What a car crash!

He was appalling and the absence of the usual sycophant left wing audience left him truly exposed .

Having said that Andrew Neil is a superb forensic interviewer . Not sure when Boris is in the hot seat but he needs to prepare like never before or alternatively go to the doctors and get a sick note !

I think De Pfeiffel s telling us that he would rather be lying in a ditch and die than selling the NHS to US insurers.
