If you were in Johnson's shoes, which do you think would do your ratings most harm:
1. Be interviewed by Andrew Neil and have the whole nation think you're a pillock (also known as "doing a Corbyn")?
2. Duck the interview and be called chicken for a few days?
For the record, I think he should have to do the interview but I can fully understand why he'd go for option 2.

Go to lunch first with Neil and drop a tab of acid into his glass of wine might be his best option.
One thing we know is that he will need to be well prepared and well practiced by Tory head office. He must have all the answers and not try to play the amiable buffoon in the belief that the electorate will fall for it and find him appealing. If there is a chink in Boris's armour Andrew Neil will surely find it. And quite right too!

However this time we have a privileged generation or 2 who grow up through that period and didn’t experience the sheer hell of socialism and the damage that was inflicted on the whole country by the communist trade unions in 1970s.

Interesting comment this morning from Louise Ellman who says the anti- Semitism that drove her out of Labour has got worse . I’m amazed that anyone could vote for Momentum Labour which is morphing into a left wing BNP .

Nor the atrocities carried out by Corbyn's heroes in the IRA and other terrorist organisations! Indiscriminate bombings, murder, kneecapping and all manner of very profitable organised crime. As we search for blame for the ridiculous student viewpoint on politics perhaps we need to look inward. It's natural for kid's to rebel against parents but I suggest that our generation along with the namby pamby educationalists in the schools and universities have been culpable in not continually driving home good and evil and the lessons of history to the next generation.

As for Sturgeon, am I correct in the belief that she would prefer Scotland to go bust and remain in the UK, Trident to be expanded, the eu to crumble and fail just so long as the Tories lose the election? In every interview it seems like it to me.
