Predictions League 2022-23 Season

How about a little competition to find the most accurate predictions for the top 6 positions and 3 relegation slots with an extra point for Champions this coming season. Winner to get enormous kudos at the end of the season!

Top 6 (in any order) Burnley, Norwich, Watford, Sheff Utd, Boro and Luton.(6 points)
Relegated: Wigan, Birmingham, Bristol City(3 points)
Champions: Norwich(1point)

Much as I was hoping WB was returning - it appears he isnt🥲
I do enjoy the prediction league so would be willing to take over this season
In the TG vein I think we should rethink things a little
How about a pre season finishing place prediction for say 15points if you get it spot on and maybe 12 points + or - a position and 6points + or - 2positions to keep it possible to leap frog?
Just an idea - open to suggestions

I didn't know there were to be 6 teams in the play-offs in the coming season.

Does that mean there will be 4 teams coming down from the Premier League to take the places of the Champions and three of the six teams in the Play-offs?

It was the top 6 in any order for 6 points the 3 relegated teams for 3 points and 1 point for the Champions making a nice round 10 points but it’s clearly gone down like a lead balloon!

So as there has been little feedback with the exception of TG I will just press on with this seasons league. would TG mind changing the title by adding league into the thread name please

Correct Result Prediction
Rovers or Opposition win =3pts
Draw Predicted =4pts

Correct Score Prediction
Up to 3 goals (0-0 1-1 1-0 2-0 2-1) = +2pts
Between 4 and 6 goals (2-2 3-1 3-2 etc) = +3pts
Any other score =+5pts

Am I reading this correctly, the final position prediction will come on top of the prediction league so even if someone predicted every score correctly they could be beaten by someone finishing nine points behind but predicted the final Rovers finishing position more accurately?

If Steve is happy I’m prepared to be in charge of the final position predictions as a separate entity altogether using his guidelines. It would only involve collating everyone’s predictions once and then announcing the winner at the end of the season. It wouldn’t impinge on the match predictions at all. So everyone can have two chances at being a champion predictor! I’m more than happy to start the thread if people want that.
