Predictions League 2023/24 Season

New league - same gurus making the early running
(strangely enough Nobody got tonights correct score to get the 5 extra points!!)

ODB makes the early running thanks to his correct 2-2 prediction in the Rotherham game
As usual Alan makes his solid start - but is he destined for his consistent lower podium finishes yet again? He is the only other person to nail a correct score with his opening day 2-1 against WBA

Next update at end of Sept when hopefully one or two more will have joined in, or started to predict on a regular basis

September update and ODB continues to lead the way with Alan predicting in bulk but still picking up points and staying close behind.
BB still getting the results but with zero correct scores - same as last season. Rovers95 makes his debut in the top3

October update after game 18 (Tonights Chelsea game)
ODB still blazing a trail and looking good to regain his place as prediction league king - Alan and Rovers95 continue to be his nearest challengers
Drog and Tony Greenbank have made a little progress but are still quite a few results/correct scores behind ODB but we are only a third of the way through the season - they have more hope of getting to the top than our local neighbours have of getting out of the relegation zone

Not much change except Alan has closed the gap on ODB
Next update after the Hull game so its a Mery Xmas from all the staff at the predictions League office

ODB head over heart predictions have pulled him 12 pts clear at half way - as usual Al stays 2nd but is under pressure from Drog who managed 3 correct results out of 4 and only the 4th Southampton goal blocked what would have been a very lucrative Lucky15/Yankee

Thanks - bit of fun and even though there is only a dozen regular predictors - if I dont do it game by game - its a pain
Was thinking we should spice it up and all throw a tenner in for 50/50 prize/charity donation? Probably be breaking some kind of law though?

Latest update after 34 games
ODB is still blazing the trail and with a 15 point gap and is going to take some catching - 7 games in 26 days gives Alan,Drog or Rovers95 a chance to make up some ground........The rest of us are on the beach already

Latest update before post Swansea melt down
As we were after 41 games Alan has closed the gap on ODB a little, and Husky and TonyG have hit on the draw formula and move up a little.
Khmer has clearly given up his title and hasnt predicted for a month or so - in fact, has he posted at all? Hope all is ok

Same as we were after game 46 (which includes yesterdays Sunderland result)

Alan has moved back within a freak result......like...I dont know...... say..... a 5-1 away win of ODB.
Bar a fantastic run of predictions by Drog or Rovers95 it now looks like a two horse race!
