Typical of our luck at the moments the Stoke goal was clearly offside and missed by the linesman! And with that fact it changed the nature of the match. :(

You’re right Drog. I was sat in EO1 Row 9 yesterday and he was offside. Mind you I think Stoke deserved the points.

What's the point of supporting the Rovers and having to predict that they'll lose.
That's what you've got to do each second half of the season.
They do say, that doing the same thing, and expecting things to change, is a sign of madness.
That's why I stopped predicting.....

Just a quick post from me.
I'm away on a golfing holiday until 2nd May and, surprisingly, won't have my laptop with me.
I will update the table when I get back.
Have one for my birthday WB.
2/5. let me know what you have, I'll try and find it down under to share the experience.
Enjoy the golf

Sorry for the delay but I returned from holiday this morning, so below is the up-to-date predictions table following the walloping of PNE and the whimpering against Bournemouth.

Please let me know if I've screwed anything up as I've not had a lot of sleep.

It's all to play for on the final match (the predictions table, not the championship  ).
Any of the top 4 could become champion and, if the Birmingham match is a high-scoring affair, any of the top 6 could.

To avoid any accusations of skulduggery, prediction-copying and the like, and in keeping with what we did last year, it would be best if those near the top do not post their predictions on the match thread for this last match but send them to me in a PM instead.

Once the match finishes, I will reveal all and we will see who ends up with the glory.
Good luck!

OK folks, here is the final predictions table.

Firstly, thanks to Tony Greenbank and OOT for posting their predictions on the match thread instead of via PM 🙄
There was some shuffling of positions after those postings.
Coincidental? perhaps.

Anyway, our top two both correctly predicted 1-2 and collect 5 points each.
Congratulations, therefore, go to ODB as this season's champion 🍾

Congrats also and very well played to Robin, who fell just 2 points short.

Hopefully, someone else will take up the baton and run the predictions league from next season.

As this is my last post, I'd just like to thank everyone who has joined in over the last few years.
I'd also like to say thanks to all the new "virtual" Rovers mates I've made on here.
The vast majority of posters are friendly, even in disagreement, and I hope you continue to enjoy whatever the rollercoaster that is Blackburn Rovers has in store for us over the coming years.
All the best
WB

Oh, and here is the final table

Congratulations ODB , well deserved.

Apologies WB , I clean forgot to PM you my prediction .

It’s a sad day for Roversfans.com . I’m sure I speak for us all when I ask you to have another think about leaving the forum

Whatever you decide , once again thanks for your efforts both on the technical side and running the Prediction League this season

Two years on the spin ODB! Well done, you're neck and neck with OOT in winner's titles now. Hard luck to all the 60+ points club and especially to Tony Greenbank who walked the correct results column but was let down by having just one 5 pointer all season. No doubt the disastrous run of last minute goals and missed penalties / sitters in the last few months spiked your predictions and helped others.
Thanks to WB for seeing the season through and now all we need is someone to step up to the plate for next season. WB your self imposed posting ban surely doesn't extend to exile from the predictions league?

Congrats ODB!

I guess I should be quite pleased with "making the play-offs" considering I took 95% of the season off - and was in effect predicting blind, ,though it was literally impossible not to find out about the record home defeat - which seems like an eternity ago now.

I wonder, is anyone that bored as to find out where Rovers would have finished in the table according to their own predictions? Go on!
