Bloody Hell! Wagner leaves Huddersfield Town by mutual agreement! I certainly didn't see that coming. I know O'Neils linked but I wonder if Forest or similar have been sniffing around him?

Spare a thought for thousands of Bin Dippers aka Liverpool fans this morning. Faced with a relatively easy home tie v Leicester and the expectancy of a form book win to go a massive 7 points clear of Man City they bottled it and are now only 5 in front and rem City have a superior goal diff!
It appears to me that nerves have started to play a part in the title race. Livvie got a point the day after Citeh suffered a loss at Newcastle but we Rovers fans know that it'll feel like a loss whilst 30 miles up the road Man City will have been given renewed belief. Effectively a massive psychological difference and City have been let off the hook!
Klopp and his team's twitchy bums were laid bare for all to see by their half time 'cheating' as the groundsmen were instructed to clear snow/slush from Leicester's penalty area but leave it lying in their own! Presumably to give themselves a 2nd half advantage in a typical John Beck (rem him) inspired piece of 'legal chicanery. Sneaky Jurgen even had the temerity to lay blame the pitch after the game on their failure to get all 3 points in the apparent belief that no one would mention that Leicester were playing on the same pitch! Certainly this incident gives validation to the age old song "Same old scousers. Alway's cheating"

Anyway as I stated at the top and as far I can see it's still in Liverpool's own hands by steering clear of serious injury to key players and getting the basic psychology right within the squad as they tick the games off. Let's be honest here, the memory of them bottling it and handing the title to City in 2013/14 season will be playing on many scouse minds won't it? :worried:

So if you have a friend /relative / workmate who supports Liverpool and is currently suffering anxiety attacks (as many of us did in '95) you might cut and paste this post to reassure them that sometimes the smaller clubs CAN prevail and overcome football's giant clubs as we and Leicester famously did. Liverpool fans can only hope that they can do likewise and come out on top against a far wealthier club. Also try to offer them the benefit of your League title winning experience and how you handled the run in because let's be honest unless the mickey mousers are over 45 they won't have any idea what's in store these next few months will they?

As I predicted it would things appear to be turning a little sour for Marco Silva at Everton. Currently 9th with 33 points. Last season at this time 9th with 34 points. Only difference is that Silva caused a rumpus with watford when he came, has spent around 80m quid and he's gonna cost an awful lot to get rid of! The Everton fans who thought Allardyce wasn't good enough are intent on learning the hard way. :D Silly buggers should just have sought advice from the fans of BWFC, NUFC, BRFC, WHU and Crystal Palace but of course the noisiest ones always know best eh?

He'd have a better chance if he'd got his coaching badges.

Has he never asked himself why there isn't a queue of Premier Football League chairman lined up outside his front door? What a numpty!

The Liverpool wobble is well and truly on.
1-1 at West Ham tonight and far from convincing.
If City win at Everton on Wednesday, they go top (having played a game more but it's a big change psychologically)

I thought Watford sacked him before he went to Merseyside? I’ve no time for Everton, some of their fans are genuinely nasty buggers.

Will those fans want Everton to lose on Wednesday as beating City would put Liverpool one step closer to the title?

Cause and effect I'd say ODB. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42765881

By way of comparison I believe the entire world of football who weren't plastics wanted us to win the title in '95 .... except of course our near neighbours both ways along the M65. I would say though that Everton / Liverpool fans from within the city are strange bedfellows and do have a quite unique relationship because of the intimacy of the rivalry.

Liverpool and Everton fans were the last to share terracing on derby days before all seater put an end to it.

Dyche’s lot beat Spurs . He’s a darn good manager , they’re lucky to have him in the same way we were lucky to have Big Sam . Will the Dingles be as daft as some of our lot and start demanding Barca style football instead of the pragmatic style of football ( hoof ball  ) that keeps them well clear of the bottom three ?

I hope so .

The only occasion I’d ‘ cheer ‘ on Man Utd is if they were playing the Dingles .

Out of interest , who would Utd fans rather win the league , City or Liverpool ?

Indeed so. It would have been more surprising to me if he had played.
Bit harsh though making City and Chelsea play just 2 days after Sundays marathon final.
