It appears Lenihan has picked up an injury and is on his way back to Rovers for treatment!!
Just our luck
But at least Ryan Nyambe should be back to cover

WE have too many covering and not enough automatic selections at the moment.

Suppose the next two days will show if its better to have the points on the board
or games in hand

best case scenario is draws all around

Just looking at Bournemouth's run in --- tough to say the least! but if they can produce the goods (except against us of course) they could be our play off hope allies

Tough matches maybe but 'easy matches' are fools gold in the Championship.

Excel cough cough.
Anyway I agree. Previously we were looking at finishing in second or third but now we only need to look at sixth place, it’s all to play for.

We are very definitely in the mix. Our form earlier in the season was so good that we have kept pace in spite of our recent poor results. COYB.
My thought too Tony
Looking at the fixtures we must have a realistic chance of picking up enough points

We must win the next two - I think 10/12 points would do the job

I’ve got us down for 10 points from the last 6 games in my original predictions spreadsheet. That currently will take us to 72 which might be enough for 6th but I forecast that we would lose to PNE and Bournemouth and draw tomorrow so a couple of wins from those games would be a real boost!
To me Huddersfield, Boro, Sheff Utd, Rovers and Luton are fighting for 3 playoff places as I believe Forest are a shoo in for third.

I’m a take one game at a time merchant . Having said that it’s interesting to see the future matches of our rivals and forecasts of possible final points total , thanks Tony and Steve .

So in complete contradiction with the above , Rovers should be too strong for Blackpool tomorrow and Peterborough on Good Friday . I know there are no easy games in this league , but if ever 6 points were a real possibility and desperately needed it’s from the next two games . TM has to get his team up for it and from what I’ve seen since he came back , Dack’s attitude and leadership should help . He can lead and inspire , something the team has been missing on the pitch .

Despite the dreadful run and the unwanted records along the way , I’d have taken this position back in August . I never imagined we’d be eighth with a chance of the playoffs whilst sat here watching the golf from Augusta 👍

It's his instinct to get on the right spot which is most important. Most will agree that we've been creating plenty of chances in our bad run but not converting them. Even a Hat on a Stick on the Penalty spot would have got one at Swansea! Forests form is excellent for sure but tbh should we get into the play offs I don't really fear any team.

The big question is can the team continue to perform over 90 mins in these last six matches as they did against Coventry and Derby Co in both second halves or will they have to carry on with the stuttering 'over' football, misplaced passing and feeble attacking performances seen in the first halves of those matches? Whoever flicks the switch at HT needs to do it at the start. The variation of our performances week to week baffles me and especially so when their is a £10m crock of Gold waiting for them at the end of the rainbow.

Well there is no excuse for not going it for it from the 1st minute
We have nothing to lose and we need to play with that mentality

lets hope TM picks BBD from the start - I was one of his biggest critics but he looked up for the fight last week

So Hedges and Giles and Gallagher it is then?
