Was he concussed at all? Cos if he was concussed at all then he won't be allowed to play will he?

Different gravy....... Shaun Edwards / Wigan
In 1990, Edwards received the Man of Steel Award after he played most of the Challenge Cup Final against Warrington with a broken cheekbone and eye socket, after receiving a high, off the ball tackle in the 10th minute. He refused to be substituted and played on to set up three of Wigan's tries scored.

I didn’t realise that the Dingle Rodriguez was also responsible for Mulgrew's injury . In the days when I played in the Accrington Combination one or two of our harder lads would be out to ‘do’ him in the return game , just as accidently as he did Raya of course . A marked man if there ever should be one . The crowd need to give him some dreadful stick too .

Raya, who suffered a serious facial injury in a clash with Baggies striker Jay Rodriguez, has been given dispensation to spend the next few days with his family back home in Spain.

Upon his return, the 23-year-old goalkeeper will see a specialist, who will make a further assessment on his fractured nose once the swelling has died down.

Captain Mulgrew is set to undergo a second scan on the rib injury that forced him off after just 16 minutes at The Hawthorns.

Following an initial scan, Rovers are pleased to report that results have shown that the Scotland star has not suffered a fracture.

Rodwell was replaced in the second half after suffering a back spasm, but the condition has now settled down and Rovers are hopeful that the former England international should be available for Saturday's Ewood encounter against the Hoops.

The club were given a further injury boost, as midfielder Jacob Davenport played 90 minutes - and scored - in the Under-23s' 2-1 victory over Liverpool at Leyland last night, whilst right-back Ryan Nyambe also came through 65 minutes unscathed.

So looks like Raya is out for a week or two and don't think mulgrew will play

Guessing but might scan no 1 be a simple X-Ray to detect and fractures whilst scan No2 is a MRI or CAT scan to locate the precise site of the injury for treatment? Obviously reading between the lines it sounds like there's no break but he must be in significant pain. If it's ligament / tendon damage they are slow healing and he could be out for a month or so.

After last weekends mix and match and lucky escape with a point in the end although it was well earned I think this will be a back to basics job. Tactics designed to stop them and protect our stand in keeper,

1 - 1

I'd imagine TM's had a few cracks on his nose in the past so he'll know what it entails. As for the others after viewing this I doubt that he'll allow any malingering without due cause.

So It looks very much like this smokin hot hunk of man is going to be the one between the sticks on Saturday, so lets hope he keeps up the kind of record he had at Shrewsbury...... Or will he have embraced the ways of his home country and be in a stoner haze with a massive bong and some skins in his kit bag!!!! And I better be impressed with this sitting with the snobs in the jw stand as she who must be heard ( daughter ) has moved me from my set in the riverside so she can see the fireworks after the game...... I'm not happy as I sit row 3 on the half way line and now I'm in row 16 upper jw not on half way...... Bloody kids..... Anyway I've digressed be good in goal you Canadian ice hockey nation chiseled chin 29 year old......... Stop the bloody ball
