Global winner of the 2021 Christmas Quiz 👊🤩🤩
Dear friends, foes and lovers,
My apologies for being late with this preview but I have had a million and one things to deal with over the last couple of days and a backlog of other bibs and bobs to follow up. This preview will also be somewhat short as I have been caught short, with my pants down perhaps, as I struggle to come to terms with the demands on my time.
The weather here in Lancashire has been fine and my daffs are popping up. I do hope you are receiving some warmth where you are; it is amazing how only a little love, attention and a warm hand can help with growth.
Even Rovers, the Pride of Lancashire, are showing some signs of recovery. Two wins on the trot following those two decent away points are enough to make the men and women of East Lancashire and the environs splutter forth with love songs about our brave boys in blue.
The game on Saturday will be a challenge as QPR will be with new manager, and Rovers fan, Gareth Gates. GG has been down the gym prepping himself for all the distractions West London will provide. I just hope he is not ‘on song’ and that Rovers will make the Long and Winding Road to South Africa Rd making it a trio of wins.
Our Gareth
On the subject of trios I will be missing the game in London due to a date with this lovely pair I bumped into whilst walking the pet Llama in Witton Park.
Me and My Pet Llamas (v.1)
My Pet Llamas (v.2)
The game will be a toughie. We just need to grasp our chances, hold on tight and follow through. I predict a 2-0 victory for Rovers.
Love n kisses
