Looks like the club have scrapped it entirely for home games. Now I'm not really that bothered about the basic radio signal but I assumed ifollow would have audio commentary for home games. The problem for me is that blind fans won't have any audio now (well unless whoever they go with can provide running commentary) which would have allowed them to listen to ifollow. If kids can't cope without playstations in the family stand then why can't the club provide audio for the blind? I assume there was professional audio equipment provided to blind fans that allowed for a clear connection in the past? Why couldn't they have set that up with a connection to ifollow instead?

Cruel really.

Another cost saving. Radio Rovers will no longer be broadcast at home matches! How much will that save?Bugger all. Rovers were the first team to have its own radio programme. Another tradition gone. Cheston strikes again.
I'm quite disappointed. I used to enjoy listening on the way to and from matches. Tight bastards.

The standard radio signal would be the traditional model. Ifollow is internet audio.

Just regarding the post in your topic Al, Radio Rovers might have been a negligible cost in our PL days but the club probably makes about a tenth as much revenue now.

Stopping funding has one effect only. Less spent on players. No effect whatsoever on Venkys or Cheston.

I understand what you are saying. I want the Venkys to go away but over the years it is obvious that boycotting effects only the club and has absolute zero effect on the owners. They couldn't care less whether we attend or not.
