Very sad news at such a young age. RIP Butch.
It puts it into perspective when Wilphire (I think it was) posted the Shearer goals against United from 24 years ago, which as he said and I agree with, seemed 'like yesterday'.

I know Gord, it was my Dad's eightieth at the weekend, you start reminiscing the fantastic memories, many Rovers or football related and then you hear this news and can't help make you think.Just goes faster when you do that darren. Can't win.
I hope all those who hold Rovers dear to their heart, put any ownership issues aside, part company from their keyboards and just get down to Ewood en masse to cheer US home in the last few games.
