This will be my first match back at Th'ewood since my enforced absence. I've got my ticket for the BBE, cleared my vocal chords and am looking forward to getting back into the swing!

As for the match, if I say it could go two ways it's sounds a bit obvious, but with an under performing team like Boro I feel it's even more accurate than most weeks in this league. As last season, they were well fancied to be challenging for promotion, but again like last year they've got off to a stinker. So will it be the start of a resurgence or will they sink deeper?

My gut feeling is that this will be a real toughy and I expect them to be well up for it, but I could also see a scenario where the Rovers score early and run away with it. As always, I'll let my heart rule my head when it comes the the Rovers and go for a 3-1 win but as always with us, I think the first goal will be very important.

It'll be interesting to see if Pears gets dropped after his poor game at Plymouth, up till then I think he'd done ok, but when you get fans on your back as a GK it can be the worst position on the pitch.

I expect a big following from Boro who are really well supported away from home and although I haven't done a count as yet, I'd expect a crowd of knocking on 16,000. Here's hoping it's a good day for my big return.

COYB BOYS.

I heard they had been given an extra 1500 - on top of the 2.5k originally

I have that same feeling - Boro must wake up soon - so 2-2 for me

Is it just me that thinks that whenever a team is on a bad run the rovers always oblige with a poor performance and end up losing?
1-2☹

I’m going 3 v2 rovers. We haven’t been a poor as a results show and boro are still in the process of reforming their team. Also we will concede that is a given

It does serious efforts are being made in a limited kitchen and after a Sodexo botched launch. Have you seen the executive offering by the chief? I’ve got him on linked in and it’s 5 star. All local produce too! Some of his dishes are amazing.

Looking forwards to the game! More so than ever, with JDT at the helm I think we are Mark Hughes BSA organised. Love the fella

Done a quick count for today and it looks like the usual 12-12,500 Rovers fans, so assuming we don't get a massive late surge and they bring about 3000 I'd expect a crowd of around 15,500, maybe 16,000 if we get a late push.

The Sodexo food offering in corporate is excellent. I hear folk having a moan and I ask them if they have tried corporate and 100% of the time the answer is “no”!! Moaning Minnie’s as usual. I prefer the Sodexo food to what was dishes up before.

As for JDT he is Michelin Star grade.

Maybe you could start a chant with your mates before and during the match (a la old Trafford v Chelsea) based on the proclaimers '500 miles'.
"and I would watch 5000 games, and I would watch 5000 more " etc.

I’d have thought Moran would have been on fire after his brilliant goal in midweek! Maybe he’s come back a bit jaded. No Gilsenan on the bench.
