Elliot Jackson in the LT thinks differently......
"By the letter of the law, Karlan Grant was offside as Dimitrios Goutas thundered a header into the net, with the West Brom loanee stood in front of Leopold Wahlstedt. But such was the ferocity and close proximity of the header, there was no way he was interfering with play. It was fortunate."

Sigurdsson
Probably our poorest player on the pitch, so I think it was right to bring Ennis on for him. He wasn't particularly bad, but didn't offer much, and generally looked fatigued. It's clear that he was tired from international duty and travelling. He'll be back with a bang soon because he is a class player.
Could Pickering's new role be affecting him?

I don't think so. Sigurdsson was superb against QPR with Pickering playing in the same position. I genuinely think he was just a bit tired from international duty and, really, having been on a long road to fitness. I think this was evidenced by his rugby tackle and yellow card in the first-half! He just didn't get into the game, which also might be a credit to Cardiff City. They were difficult to play against, I thought.

I thought we got lucky
As others have pointed out - the ref was a homer! (But if things work out even - we are due another 50 homers, at the very least!)

Well its a tricky one I suppose. It was practically straight at Wahlstedt, so maybe there'd have been a slight chance of him getting his hands up if he'd seen it from the split second it left the Cardiff player's head.

There's also the fact that the guy is in an offside position in the first place because he's blocking the keeper from coming out to punch/catch it. Fine that seems to be allowed these days, but in that case the blocker should be smart enough to out of the keeper's eyeline as the corner is coming in.
