Form table....

https://www.footballwebpages.co.uk/blackburn-rovers/form-guide/ten

Looks like a piece of piss on Monday night until one remembers that every match in this Division is a potential banana skin. Also when one takes into account losing home matches to the likes of Luton and Charlton and a draw against Huddersfield there can be nothing taken for granted. A message TM needs to be drumming into the players.

btw With Cardiff and PNE drawing today a win on Monday night will see us right on North Ends heels.

C'mon Barnsley too. If they can hold on then by beating Millwall they will do us a favour and mean that Wigan turn up on Monday rock bottom of the table.
After watching them against us I'm betting Barnsley stay up.
Could probably do with WBA getting a winner v Brentford too.

Wow..... Millwall got an equaliser and Barnsley scored a winner in the 94th minute! Them there tykes better be careful outside the ground!

Only bad result today was Ayew scoring his 4th goal in three matches (inc the leveller v us) late in the game against Luton to grab all 3 points and take Swansea into the play off places.

Difficult to break up Johnson and Travis in midfield for sure after their showing at Bristol but I think we could do better than a front two of Gallagher and Brererton with Rothwell, Graham, Armstrong and Dack pressing for a starting place.

Looks like a good gate tomorrow. Some of the‘dark side’ website posters slagged off Rovers for reducing prices for this game, sounds like we should have 17,000+ on for a Monday night televised game.

Well done Rovers, a good choice. I just hope the Rovers players turn up :rolleyes:o_O:worried:

Spent a few days in Victoria at my daughters place. Grandsons b'day.

The fires are all over the place. Friends down the south coast had to evacuate, main roads to Melbourne have been closed as were the roads west and north, (You can't go too far to the east! The Pacific ocean stops you).
The worst thing is the smoke, it hangs over the city like a cloud, stings your eyes, makes breathing difficult. There's been a few days respite and hopefully the agencies will get the upper hand before the next round of hot windy weather arrives.
Check out the number of fires and the area burnt here:
https://www.rfs.nsw.gov.au/fire-information/fires-near-me

The coastline of NSW from the Victorian border to the Qld border is about 12-1300 kms to add a bit of scale.

A Rovers win would add a little bit of Christmas cheer to this household.

They can't all be wildfires dave. Whose starting them? Is it careless or malicious?

Must be an awful death for the wildlife caught up in it all.

I heard a politician on a news report say there's some deliberate starting of fires, what f*cking idiot does that. Oh, and I include those that start the fires on Darwen moors.

Lightening strikes, smokers chucking their fag ends out of the car ($300+ fine for that even on a wet day).
On windy days, trees coming into contact with overhead power lines, branches falling on power lines, backburns that get away and finally the effing meatheads that go around setting fire to the bush.
We have a volunteer organisation called (in NSW) The Rural Fire Service, who do fantastic work. They take time off their normal jobs and family duties to fight fires and keep the rest safe. Heroes every one, I couldn't do it.
We also have days of total fire bans. This includes all types of flame outside, from BBQ's to industrial (angle grinding, welding and the like that might cause sparks etc.

Stay safe. I hope you and yours have a Merry Christmas.

And the Rovers will win.

Besides Charlie Mulgrew (who btw hasn't scored for Wigan this season) a few other lads with connections to this area currently plying their trade with Wigan are Anthony Pilkington, Joe Garner and Josh Windass.

Good going in what is traditionally the pre-Xmas lull. Was surprised to see so many empty seats at St James' Park and Dean Court on MOTD at the weekend.
