It is the return off the messiah on sat,not Lambert but Alan JUdge.Always liked Ipswich from the time they stole Allan Hunter of us.We played a blinder got Bobby Bell in part -exchange and sold him in a month for 5 times the value.
Then Sir Bobby had a great team,Arnold Muhren and another Dutch Guy.Chorley,s own Paul Mariner,Alan Brazil ,Eric Gates,Colin Viljohn, they were Great days.Kevin Beattie the names still roll off my toungue.Anyway if we have a full squad i would like to see'.
GK raya
rb nayambe
cb Lenihan
cb Mulgrew
LB Rodwell

mf REED
mf Travis
mf Bennett
mf Armstrong

cf Graham
cf dack
result rovers 2 v 0 dipstick

If we are to get anywhere it will need the manager to make a far better effort at picking a team than last night. He must have picked them four at a time with a fork. He could hardly have done worse, but I'm sure he'll try.
I'll leave my forecast till I see the team and just hope he doesn't do too much damage with the subs.

Matchday surcharge dropped on Saturday. First sign of a climbdown?
Everyone I've spoken to says Travis and Reed are the best centre midfield pairing we have (possibly with Bennett and Armstrong on either side).......
......are you listening TM?

The way Reed limped off it didn't look like he'll be figuring on Sat. Seemed to pull a muscle / tweak his groin or similar.

Still trying to work out if Al is just having a bit of fun about TM
Our home record is great under him, and whilst I sometimes wonder about his selections - overall, the results do the talking

If Smallwood and Evans play its Rovers 3-1 for me
If they don't, its Rovers 3-1 for me

Why have you got Rodwell playing left-back? I know we're hardly blessed in that position but the last thing we need is more square pegs in round holes.
i had conway there at 1st,i could do better than Bell or Williams and im 130kg.

I'm back on buckshaw working this week next door to grant hanleys house and reed is living in it now with his girlfriend, he didn't leave the house at all Wednesday then was back at training yesterday, looked ok but that was only walking from the car to the front door so he may not be..... I'll keep my eye out today and see what he looks like as to whether he will be back or not....

Wed would be a day off for the players as it was the day after a match but I'd have thought he would have been called in for assessment and treatment. The only exception would have been if he had come off because of cramp but it didn't really look like that to me.

Scrap that training may be late today as Conway lives over the back and he is in his kitchen at the min......
