19:45 on Tuesday 21st February sees the visit of Blackpool to Ewood. They are in wretched form having won only once in their last twelve games. I do hope we don’t demonstrate our usual charitable behaviour towards teams desperate for points. Blackpool being the location of several childhood holidays and countless visits since cause somewhat ambivalent thoughts with regard to them. I know our fans joined them in a dual demonarration a few years back over at Bloomfield and I suspect that some of their fans would have similar thoughts towards Rovers. They also hate knob end which is never a bad thing.

My prediction is Rovers 2 Tacky Tinseltown FC 0. Hedges and Szmodics to score.

However as Blackpool have only managed one win in the last 10... ominously v Stoke last saturday with a goal from BRFC old boy Ian Poveda surely we can expect the rovers to overcome them......................... except it is the Rovers that we are talking about! The side that every basement club without a win in weeks wants to play.

if the team has that attitude then we could easily get beaten. Happens most times that we play struggling teams.
It's jdt's job to make sure that they are in the right frame of mind for a battle against relegation candidates. He hasn't managed to do that yet so let's hope he can get em up for it tonight!
