I would like to see this side tomorrow,
Kamanski
Nayambe Lenihan. Carter. Pickering.
Buckley. Travis. Davenport
Rothwell
Gallagher. Diaz.

As for swansea I reckon Fisher will be one of there 1st signings.

I doubt that team is far off the mark waggy although I'm not sure D&D will make a decent fit together. Of course Armstrong should be in and he might be inspired to play a blinder and notch a couple to draw his prospective suitors out but on the other hand he might have his mind on other things.

One thing I do hope is that should Armstrong move to the Prem and double or treble his money in the process that the rest of the young Rovers squad use that as motivation for their own careers and endeavour to emulate his achievement.

I’ll stick my neck out and go for 2-1 to us. It’s the eternal optimism that gets you in the end.

I don't know how others feel, but I really can't feel anything but "flat" about the upcoming season.
Yep, want the Rovers to win, but everything else that's going on, owners, manager, covid, or whatever, just seems to take the usual expectancy of a good season, and throw it out of the window.

I am in a different camp on this.
I am so looking forward to some normality and football represents that to me.
We are struggling as a club and expectations are low (or lower than previous seasons)
Playing hungry youngsters excites me, and we do have some really promising kids coming through. If our fan base can get behind them we might just have a great season.
Half our problem for the last few seasons has been older pro's on good money and contracts happy to be mid-table and keep earning top dollar.

If we can just play without fear - it could well be a fun season

Lets hope the season will start with a win. 2-1 to Rovers with Diaz opening his goal scoring account today!

I feel a little flat and apprehensive. Going into a new season without a natural goalscorer means that I/we will be looking down rather than up as the results come through at 5pm. :worried:

:joy: :joy: :joy: Fooking hell - hand me a rope and block of ice!

Sam Gallagher might just be that goal scorer - lets just give him a chance in his "proper" position

Chance? We've had him for 4 seasons and the lad trains 4 days pw at Brockhall! How many chances does he need.
Also tell me how many Prem clubs have come in for him with 20m this close season?

Maybe I am being pessimistic but then I do rem us trying to replace Big Al with someone called Per Pederson! That didn't go well did it?
