As we don't have a thread for Sat (tomorrows) game - Thought I would start one

QPR are another of my soft spot London teams - don't know why but its probably because their ground is compact and their fans buck the trend of following the "big" clubs
Had some good times there, most notably against Fulham when they ground shared

Their form has improved lately (won last two) so with all our problems they present a big challenge

Rovers 1 QPR 2 although if AA is fit and playing I will probably change my prediction

Prediction Champion 2021 & 2022
And for that very same reason I’ll hang on with my prediction!

Ditto it's cosy and a little quirky isn't it? All the knob heads seem to follow the likes of Chelsea, WHU and Millwall too. ... plus the blue and white strip helps.

I rather like QPR away. Decent fans, old fashioned stadium and very close to the players.

I wonder what they think of Blackburn as a town (🤣🤣🤣) and our rusting hulk of an oversized stadium?

They can't moan about the Stadium but it could do with a lick of paint before metal fixtures rust away and need replacing. However it does remind me of the rovers fans singing at Craven Cottage "I want to go home, I want to go home.... Fulham's a shit hole I want to go home".

I feel hot today and I expect my team of hotties to win 2-1.

BB Man of the Match. Eeyore to break a finger nail and be subbed; believe me breaking a finger nail is serious and requires urgent manicure attention 💅

Greetings from sunny 20c Spain.

As I'm off down the coast very shortly for a lunch (which is generally 2-4pm here) and pub crawl I will miss this game. Better things to do and all :yum:cool::sun:

So based on that (and the fact that I'm not one of those that stares at their phone when out in real life) I'll have to make my predition without seeing the starting line-up, so we'll probably win. So I'll go for 2-1 to Rovers.

As a side not, I spoke to my dad last light and he said that watching Mowbray and Rovers is depressing in an already depressing situation and he might not even bother watching (though he has the means to do so), so although he won't be joining the prediction league he thinks QPR will win 1-0.

Bit unfair Husky. Watching Rovers wasn't depressing before injuries wiped our first team out. In fact quite the opposite.

btw Gambas al ajillo, portugese piri piri Chicken and a good few glasses of a white rioja sounds bang on. Plus (if I rem to switch on) there's always my review to look fwd to!:confused:
