I tried to find an attractive PNE supporter but failed. The best I could come up with is Freddie Flintoff and I didn't think that many would be interested in a photograph. If Kate or Pink Rover (anybody remember her) would like me to I'll find a photo of him.

It´s a pity we´re still playing behind closed doors as there could have been a pretty decent atmosphere this evening. PNE might have even brought 1000 fans due to there being no Liverpool or Man Utd game to distract them (yes we all know Preston is full of plastic glory hunters with PNE being their bit on the side).

Nobbers playing defensive tonight I see. Which is probably the way to go against us. I have a feeling it won´t be pretty and there won´t be many goals (unless there´s a sending off or early goal for us).

Nyambe nowhere indeed wb but Cunningham was really Gallaghers man. All started by lenihan and branthwaite letting the ball bounce.

The goal was coming. We were lucky that their final ball was wayward a few times, as they had a guy open on their left a few times with Nyambe nowhere to be seen.

I called it wrong at the start. When I saw their team I thought they were starting with five at the back.
Instead they are doing that 'other thing' that teams do to beat us by pressing high.
