With only 15 hours to kick off - thought we should start a thread..................the interest level is running at an all time low, Covid and a run of results that would have seen 99% of managers being shown the door has taken me to SK levels of disinterest
Back then I actually reached the point of wanting us to lose to get rid of that leech. - I'm not far off the same state of mind!!

Thanks for the review Steve . I’m depressed about the Rovers and the football they are playing.

I thought TM’s change of style might prove me wrong . I’m not a big fan of the pointless possession game , I prefer a quicker more direct approach. To be fair it looked like he’d cracked it early on , but he’s been well and truly sussed since those early season wins .

I’m not sure what his next move will be , but the Rovers strategy on the pitch is now just as directionless as the strategy off it .

Surely we can beat Huddersfield. I reckon 2 - 1 to Rovers but may change when I see the team sheet.

I must say we aren't far off tbh although the probable loss of Armstrong will set us back a long way.
But
1. We need a plan B for when other teams press us high up the pitch with the aim of cutting off the supply line to Armstrong.
2. Once around the box instead of passing in ever decreasing circles we need to move the ball quicker into the danger area than we have been doing before the opposing defenders can organise themselves, turn to face up the pitch.
3. We need a decent threat from midfield. I'd be tempted to try Rothwell in Dack's role at Brockhall.
4. I'm not sure if I've mentioned this but we need to replace dumb and dumber.

Form suggests a tight game. Close in thye league and pretty close in the form table too. Huddersfield apart from a disastrous 7-0 hammering at Norwich are averaging giving just a goal a game in away matches. After a poor run a few weeks ago their form has recently improved. Presumably the very real threat of relegation has spurred them on.

Bell, Evans and Dumb and Dumber in the line up so I'm changing my forecast to 1 - 1.

2 - 0 Combination of Armstrong, Dumb and Dumber. Brereton scores. Cracking goal.
