Probably a silly idea but what about a meet up pre Doncaster game at the Royal Oak, Riley Green?

Not that I'll be attending (well I'll probably be at the game itself) but wouldn't it make more sense to meet at an Ewood facility?

I'm up for it but Vinjay makes a good point on the location. A pub on the far side of Pleasington would, I assume, make it good for seating. Which (with the greatest respect!) is probably a big plus given the average age on here. But its a bit of a pain for those coming from Hyndburn or the Ribble Valley.

As close to Ewood Park as possible seems the most inclusive option in my opinion. There's the Blues Bar, Fox and Hounds and the Fan Zone. Although may have to meet a couple of hours before kick off to guarantee seats.

That's a good idea BB , but like Wilpshire and DSD , I'm away from 7th to 21st August .

I'd be be up for attending any future gatherings though .

Match days are difficult for me as I share a car park place with a mate who would not be attending so it makes it difficult. I would very much be up for a meet up at some convenient place on a none match day. A meal out somewhere would be great. Maybe at Yoda's place?

btw Hoghton Arms is about the nearest to the M65 which could suit everyone as either one junction up the the Mway or Preston Old Rd / Livesey Branch offer quick access to Ewood.

Is anyone meeting up on the 19th for Bradford away pre-match or post? Not sure if this the correct thread as advanced or does it get refreshed after southend. Thinking of catching train to foster square I'm doing a few away local this season.

I'm not a fan of supporting away from home tbh although it's worked out that I'll be at Roots Hall this Sat. I hate watching a match from behind the goals and even worse standing up to watch.

I know what you mean, I'm not bothered about positioning but it can get expensive doing all home & away credit to them that do must have more money than me & understanding partners. Plan to do all home odd aways Bradford localish.
