Global winner of the 2021 Christmas Quiz 👊🤩🤩
Every game I am desperate to see him score. Once he gets one he will knock in a lot more.

I think at this level he's an 8.5 out of 10 both defensively and going forward. He's been in the first team since the age of 18, I think that says a lot too.

He always did my head in by often turning back when receiving an attacking pass.
Lately, however, he seems to be far more prepared to take on the defenders.
No better example than the first goal against Brum.

He's all push and run, a one trick pony in effect. If he's up against a full back whose quicker than him from a standing start, or one who denies him the space down the line, or even if the centre half is covering behind the full back then he is wise to turn back.

In the modern game though, taking players on is extremely difficult. Defenders are just as quick as attackers, and have mastered the art of what I call "upper body fouls", i.e. shirt pulling, arm across the other player, moving into their running line.

In our entire squad I'd say Rothwell and somewhat Khadra and Nyambe can take players on. Dolan had a spell of it but I think defenders have now worked him out. Pickering certainly can't on the other side.

I agree he’s mentally slow, poor at using his assets going forward for me he is the weak link of this squad along with his patchy fitness issues. He’s someone I’d be looking to improve upon.

His cross was not great though, goal aided by the Birmingham keeper Sarkic parrying it into the danger zone. That’s his issue does two of three steps correctly then can’t complete

Most probably not but JRC seems to be made of sugar, great talent but he needs to get fit and stay fit. I wonder if we could send him to that guy who sorted duffs injury problems out.
