Just got home. Amazing support from the Rovers fans who sang for 90 mins+. You could see how much the win meant to our players. That was a very hard thought victory.

Our away support is going from strength to strength it seems to me. Despite the (probably country-wide) phenomenon of fans singing every song way too fast so they never last more than tens of seconds these days, the singing seems almost constant at most Rovers away matches. Maybe it's because it's non-existent these days at Ewood but whatever it is it doesn't half make away games good fun.

Can't believe we're still only 10th with 12 points from 6 games. Seems quite a polarised league already, 9 teams going along at less than a point a game and 10 teams with double the points as games.

4,330.

Not sure of the Away figure. They had a bigger gate with 4,398 against AFC Wimbledon (434 away) and almost as many, 4,290 (319 away fans), against Blackpool.

My impression is the away figures were higher than the other 2 quoted. Probably double (or not far off) at the very least. As for the home attendance safe to assume it was lower because of the evening kickoff.

I know it's only the third division and it will probably bite me in the arse but it's beginning to feel like 1994 again.

It is nice to be winning at last for sure, maybe the 'you're not fit to wear the shirt' chant worked after all. Looking forward to the weekend for once.

Great days . I went to school in Preston and plastered one of my files with Rovers stuff in celebration. One of the few things I've saved from my " inglorious school days " !! I ran on the pitch from the Riverside and just evaded a copper who was trying to hit fans with those black sticks they used to carry

Thank you.

I can see myself on the photo (I recall it was from the Blackburn Times) and I still have a copy in the garage. Fun times and done great Away trips as a young 'un :):)

Come on Abbey...we all know how much this is hurting you.

This team and Manager are worth our support....get yourself down on Saturday and breathe once more.

I know it will never happen for a variety of different reasons main 1 being the ownership issue, it would be a interesting experiment for 1 game & 1 game only to get all the napm onside just to see what the home gate would actually be & how much it would rise. I'm curious to find out just how many boycotters actually exist meaning constant home abstainees.
