Apparently if you spend money at the club you are legitimising the regime that is destroying jacks legacy. I will always support my club through thick and thin, that won't change no matter who is manager/owner at the time. I will be here long after they depart (god willing). I can't understand how not attending and criticising any fan who does benefits the club in the slightest.🤔
Some very ignorant people out there aren't there?

Supporting a club like ours has always been about going through thick and thin together though isn't it? Probably always will be too until the axe eventually falls.
Indeed and I’m afraid the way things are going , we’re going to have much more of the thin than the thick . As we all know Blackburn is changing at a rate of knots and one wonders where the next generations of fans are going to come from .

Take a look at the famous East Lancs Cricket Club and their frighteningly rapid demise over the last twenty years . If you need an example of how changing demography can change things , there you have it .

I’ll always support the Famous Blue and White Halves but I’m from a different era , an era when many went into Blackburn for their housing , their schooling , their nightlife , their shopping and their football ( The Rovers ! ) .

I now fear for the future of the Rovers . When a large proportion of the town’s population is indifferent , blasé or has no historical/ generational link to its club , then how can it survive , let alone thrive ?

So those fans who say they’re withdrawing financial support and aren’t going to buy a season ticket because of the Venkys , Steve Waggott , Tony Mowbray or Uncle Tom Cobley and all , well , they’re just hammering more nails into the coffin .

Same for most Lancashire clubs even though we are probably leading the way due to our shit demography. There is only one solution.

I thought I would look on the website to see how much a table in the Premier Suite would be for the odd game this coming season. It took a bit to find it on the Rovers website and the prices are ‘tbc’ 😮🙄

Not good enough Rovers!!

There is still no information regarding corporate / business packages.

I wasn't expecting many new season ticket purchasers after last season's showing.
Keeping the manager, bringing in hardly anyone new and about to lose our top striker has possibly seen some previous ST holders decide not to bother.
Plus we have the covid worries for the older generation.
Are we now just down to the diehards?

I have to say that most summers I look forward with a bit of optimism to the start of the new season but this time around I'm dreading it.

For now! The excitement of getting back is my overiding emotion.
Give it a few weeks eh!!

Like you say WB keeping TM et al after last season (and the convenientally forgotten equal worst run in our entire history) doesn't fill me with hope long term

Don't say you haven't been warned. I forecast the decline a long long time ago. :innocent:

I take your point about covid worries for the older generation. I have my season ticket but I'm not sure I'll be attending the first two matches due to vulnerability. Anybody know if I'll be able to get them on Rovers TV? I don't mind paying for them.
