So how are you doing so far after Brexit? Has much actually changed except maybe some prices on products? Of course there might be a bit of hassle to travel outside your islands but i can´t imagine its a big issue to stand in line a bit longer than the rest of us in the United states of Europe.

I think the pandemic has muddied the waters regarding which of the "negative" occurrences are down to covid or brexit.
Personally, I'm still glad we did it and would vote the same if I had the time over again.
Good point WB. It will be interesting to follow this as the we are starting to go back to some kind of normality. The Nordic countries are opening up right now and soon there is not even recommendation to use masks in public.

Have to be careful that the US don't bully us and the Aussies in the procurement share out. Pretty sure they'll try.

"French Prime Minister Jean Castex has written to European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen urging EU allies to back a hard-line stance against Britain in the growing fish war, the Daily Telegraph reports. Mr Castex said that the EU had to make clear that "leaving the union is more damaging than remaining in it". France and the UK are engaged in a dispute over how many French fishing boats are allowed to fish in UK waters, with tensions growing since the UK and Jersey denied fishing licences to dozens of French boats last month. The paper says a senior government source "expressed astonishment" that Paris was openly saying Britain should be punished for Brexit."

France are like little boys who have lost all their marbles and are stamping their feet and wanting revenge. How childish is that!:grinning:

The EU has to get its act together and back up Poland in their fight against the migrant invasion currently building on their border with Belarus . The superb Colin Brazier puts the case from the Eastern European and particularly Polish and Hungarian viewpoint. The Hungarians bravely fought off the Ottoman invaders four centuries ago and the King of Poland, John Sobieski was a hero too , in the siege of Vienna . These countries are the defenders of western civilisation , more recently against the horrors of communism. They deserve our full support and military back up .

Western Europe needs to wake up and pdq .

Exactly my views OOT. Lot's of people moaned about the horrors carried out on the kosovans during the Balkan Conflict without ever bothering to study the history.
