Liked a bit of punk back in the day and the Stranglers were one of the best. Have their first LP Rattus Norvegicus on vinyl . Still has the Ames Record Bar price sticker on it , £3 .75 . Loved the track ‘ Hanging Around ‘

Indeed I am . Motown and Soul are my preferred music genres and my car radio is permanently tuned to ‘ Magic Soul ‘ .

However as a ‘ youngster ‘ I was also into the Glam / Art Rock bands like Roxy , Bowie , TRex , Mott the Hoople , Cockney Rebel . I liked some punk including some of The Stranglers stuff . I even went to a Status Quo concert !

I have to say these days I love getting out the old vinyl albums and listening to James Taylor , Cat Stevens , Carly Simon , Carole King
