Watford away this Saturday. I can’t muster much enthusiasm for the game never mind the preview. Performances on and off the pitch have been shocking with poor first teams displays and managerial ineptitude with transfer dealings.
In brief I can’t be arsed spending my hard earned cash on a trip darn South. If BB(D sometimes) cannot be arsed on the pitch why should this BB be arsed to watch garbage?
We have a big 8 days with games against promotion rivals Watford, WBA and Swansea and I go into those games wondering if we will get an attempt on target never mind a single point out of nine.
But what of Watford away? Even our very own super fan Carol V giving it a miss. She did text last night and given my refusal to attend she has also declined to go, she did explain however that what she really really wants is her pre-match entertainment with me and and cannot face the trip if I were not there to entertain her. Carol even sent me a photo of the red outfit she was going to wear to match the Rovers Red away kit.

Watford of course will always be synonymous with Elton John, albeit he is not in the same league of fame as our Carol. Watford even have a stand named, ‘The Rocket Man Stand’ named after Sir Elton Bong.
