Back to 8th, overtaken by tm's Sunderland. He'll be happy tonight.

TBF Travis has played well, problem is the axis of Bucko and Morton who've been poor. You can see why we went for LOB.
I agree that Travis was our best midfielder today. We should thank our lucky star for this point and also Dacks smartness. Defence and keeper was really good today so they deserve a lot of praise because we are playing with 10 men at the moment. Sorry to say but Ben need to placed on the bench or play some games with U23 as he clearly is somewhere else in his mind.

The crowd will turn on him soon if the club aren't careful.

Not saying that I'm a great judge and I wasn't able to watch the match today but I've generally been fine with Jeremy Simpson's performances in the past.
I thought he was really poor today, almost guessing at some decisions such as the corners early on in the second half, the free kick what wasn't which led to the goal. Really poor effort from him who managed to miss a few of the ball type of challenges on us today.

Watching the non league 'derby' between Chesterfield and Notts County.
The way Langstaff took his goal makes Gallagher look like a rank amateur.

Watford

Bachmann - Free
Gaspar - Free
Porteous - 500k
Hoedt - Ex Southampton 15 million man, signed recently for 3 million, big wages.
Kamara - Originally signed for 6 million, then sold to Udinese for 19 million and now back on loan from the sister club
Kone - 8 Million
Chowdhury - On loan but must be a 10 million player.
Sarr - Signed for 30 million which is what Watford want for him atm.
Martins - On loan from sister club Udinese who paid 8 million for him.
Joao Pedro - Signed for 11.5 million worth around 30 following Newcastles interest.
Arujo - On loan from Benfica.

Subs
Louza - Signed for 10 million Euros from Nantes
Sema - 2.25 Million from a Swedish side
Cleverley, Davis, Assambolonga - all free but easily above our reported 15k pwk top line.

A point isn't too bad when considering.

Not a bad point as I thought we’d get hammered today. I felt guilty predicting a loss and to be honest I didn’t cover the game on Sky. I hope I haven’t contracted early onset apathy!
C’mon Rovers and JDT give me something to cheer.

Looking at the monetary value of the Watford squad and their desperate financial need for promotion I don’t think a draw there is that bad at all. When Watfords balloon payments run out they will be in serious financial trouble and I wonder if their Italian owners may make the decision to get rid. Watford are not historically a top flight club despite what their fans think.

Indeed it's a club what has had to mortgage the payments this season to MSP capital at 10 percent interest for 20 million advancement of parachute monies. Also similar with West Brom.

Additionally Watford sold Kamara for an over exaggerated price to sister club Udinese for 19 million having only paid 6 million mon the prior, then for him to be loaned back, another horse through the ffp rules.

All this ex PL club hokey pokey really damages the level playing field we are trying to operate in.

Noted yesterday: Watford took the knee for that violent American criminal and Rovers did not.

Did we finally get the memo?
We haven't this season thankfully. Pathetic gesture which seemed to be only honoured by the ref strangely and the BAME Watford players to go along with their arm raising black power posing.

Should be a 3 game ban.
