New members please note..... which other sites can offer a bit of Shakespeare and apply it to footy stuff?:)
I can give you more if you want! I once had to play Mark Antony in a school play.

Has anyone heard what happened at the last trust meeting, Glen Mullan saying something kicked off!

I know someone who did, probably older than you though
Off topic I know, but you went didn't you Yoda?

My dad/uncle went but they're almost 70 now. My uncle was in Manchester lad Ian Mcshanes year i think.

No, one of the best mates went, Pete Barber, the abuse doesn't seem to have effected him, MUCH lol

What's changed?
WEC and Wild binned their sponsorship of BRFC early days, siting correctly the lack of communication from Venkys.
5 years ago and now this.
Why?

With WW, it's a matter of "It's all about you, WW, isn't it?"
That's the question that should be put to him,

Now from what I hear I'm no fan of Mr Wild at all, (Glen Mullen neither tbh) but maybe playing Devil's Advocate a little, is no one allowed to ever change their mind these days?

Drog, normally I'd agree, however, we have a situation where WW was recently promoting the other side of the argument, so what has changed?

His strategy I'd guess dave.
Pretty obvious his long game is control of the club, and all he's done is change tack. Fairly certain his ambition will not have changed one bit.

"if at first you don't succeed, try try again" That doesn't mean you have to do the same thing over and over again does it?

Its not just about changing your mind, its about influencing decision making around the WAR group/protests for personal reasons only, and then jumping back in bed with the club soon after.

Is he still serving his apprenticeship at Darwen Fc?

He's fooling nobody.

I don't know this chap personally, I don't really know what WAR is or was about either. But reading between the lines I doubt he's changed his ambition, only his means of achieving it.
Think the worst of people and you will never be disappointed by them. It's a good self defence mechanism.;)

Only ever had one dealing with Wayne and that was when he got wind of a trip to Pune I was planning about 8 months. Aim was to go over there and talk to local politicians, media and business people to try and create some negative PR for Venky’s on their doorstep. I had a number of messages from Wayne and I very much got the impression from those messages that he did not want anyone going out there unless he was part of the trip. At the time I just maybe he is a control freak but now maybe his motives were more related to him being the one to first make contact with Venky’s so that he could work whatever angle he wanted.

He has put himself up there as being one of the leaders of the Venky’s out campaign. So it is a bit of a slap in the face to see that he has now effectively jumped in bed with the very people he was saying aren’t capable of running the club just a few months ago. Expect him to get a place on the board and this to be sold to people as “look we got one of the leading people who wanted venky’s out onto the board etc”.
