Barmitzvah Boy
Global winner of the 2021 Christmas Quiz 👊🤩🤩
The games are coming fast and furious, sadly our players are slow and ponderous.
As you settle down to watch the game against the Boggies I will be siting down to yet another cruise meal lubricated by vast amounts of Barolo. Yes it is the annual cruise to catch some sun while 95% of the UK moans about the weather.
The cruise did not start off too well as I decided to book my own hotel at the embarkation city of Mumbai. I thought I was booking a 4 star hotel, the price should have given me a clue as my room overlooked a river of sh!t rather than a river of charm.
BB’s Morning Stroll From His ‘Hotel Damnation’
Instead of using the local facilities I opted for the more common approach of sh!ting in the street; I enjoyed the opportunity to talk to the local ladies and waifs while cleaning myself with The Times of India during my ablutions. A great way to ingratiate oneself with the locals.
Competition Time: The Riverside Bogs or the Mumbai Long Drops?
Thankfully I have now joined my cruise and we are steaming ahead for Goa before heading for Bangkok and then onto Singapore where, subject to the aircraft doors closing properly, I will be winging my way to back to Blighty in time for a John Bull & chips and the Huddersfield home game.
i have decided to take the obligatory photograph of the buffet last night and this will be forwarded to Rovers caterers Sodexho suggesting similar for Jacks Kitchen.
BB Hits The Buffet 🫔🧆🦪
It is about time Rovers got round to winning ways again in the League. This is also our first opportunity to secure a double against the Blaggies after a narrow 2-1 victory for the Rovers in our first game of the season.
Our very own foodie and Rovers expert Anne Widdlechops will be at the match as the guest of honour in the Premier Suite* and Jacks Kitchen where she will be drumming up support for Rishi Supersnack. Anne reckons Rovers will win 2-1 while BB will no doubt be on the ball with my prediction of a 3-1 win for Rovers (too much wine addling the brain).

*please don’t tell her we are playing away.
