Jesus they were the mainstay off us young roverites,from overnight trips to Southend,Plymouth,Brighton and many more everyone must have a tale,remenber at Millwall once Big Jock the driver disarmed a machete waving F tropper with a karate kick under the jawmthe coppers picked him up,gave him his machete back and off he went,

I remember a Ribblesdale coach to Newcastle in the early 80’s. We stopped at Skipton, I went to a phone box to call my Newcastle mate and the coach left without me.

I decided to walk and thumb a lift. I got a lift in a MGB and was waiting at the coach park before the Ribblesdale bus arrived.

It finished 0-0 with a gate of just over 13,000.

Im sure we had one for the Everton away game in the FA Cup in 1985 I think. It was organised by the Lord Raglan and we broke down on the way so they had to send a replacement to pick us up. I think we took 12000 to Goodison that day but my memory is a little hazy due to the amount of alcohol.
