As I'm coming down from Scotland tomorrow and haven't seen them for a few weeks, I can't really duck out but if you're in the area of the Havelock, it would be good to meet up

I wonder what was said in the dressing room to Nyambe and Rothwell by the other players? If Speedie and Shearer were still playing, I suspect it would have been more than a few words exchanged! I'm surprised and disappointed at Nyambe's under-performance against Fulham, since he's always given his all. Having said that, I prefer Rankin-Costello over Nyambe. Can't say the same for Rothwell, who from the matches I have watched, has been swinging the lead for the majority of his time at Ewood. We'll lose again if Mowbray persists in selecting 'rubber dinghy men'; it's bound to affect team morale.

Drog, I came up on Tuesday to get in the Fulham and Sheffield games but staying at my daughters before going back next week. Do you remember a guy who lived in Plymouth who did a 600 mile round trip every home game? He did deserve respect!
On a serious note I do hope the Venky’s we’re watching on Wednesday with extreme embarrassment at the way this great club has suffered since they took over. Their stewardship of the club has been disastrous. They are to blame for taking a mid table well run Premiership outfit to an average Championship side who are currently the laughing stock of football. They should be ashamed.
On Wednesday I noticed the council are building Issa Way by the old Walkersteel building; let’s hope that’s a sign for the future.
