Covid-19 and the necessary self isolation / lock down will create many changes to our current lifestyles, not only now but in the future as the population has an unforeseen opportunity to re-invent itself.
A few topics for discussion of the top of my head might include .......
1. Working from home becoming much more widespread with conference calling etc leading perhaps to much less office space being required, less traffic on the roads and public transport etc. Less reliance on town / city centre shops and services.
2. Cash / cheques already declining fast could now (sadly) disappear overnight.
3. Tedious dinner table swank about 4 overseas holidays / ski trips / cruises etc per annum will hopefully become a thing of the past.
4. A kick back reaction by the world against chinese goods.
5. Numerous pubs and restaurants closing as people re-discover the art of preparing food and entertaining at home.
btw...... 1, 3 and 4 can't help but be great news for the planet!
Any more?
