Agreed but Hyam looks poor. Brittain has to be our worst monetary signing under the venkys Lower leagues area. Trully dreadful.

Carter and Hyam don’t look a good partnership at all. Hopefully tronstad is a niggle as he’s the only one who put an effort in

On the whole I do wonder how many of our injured players would make such a significant difference to be honest.

We don't exactly miss Gallacher's prolific scoring for example.

No but the PPG tally and generally we look better with a focus point when he plays.

Lacking drive in this team. Moran has gone off the boil and he’s be replaced by hedges usually. I think we miss JRC the most to be honest.

I did say fairly recently that we have lacked fight in any kind of local or Lancs-Yorks derby game for a while now.

And here we are again. Embarrassing!

With Hull & crappy bottom of the league Rotherham up next. Could this be the most embarrassing Christmas period of all time?

I see Watford (who looked pretty crap for an hour against us) are losing 3-1 at home to Bristol City.

Ironically our only decent recent result was that rather undeserved win against City.

Well they were all shit, perhaps apart from Markanday who showed some sort of incision that we're so badly lacking at the moment.

I felt taking Moran at half-time was correct because he's been ineffectual of late, but losing Tronstad off just gave Huddersfield an easy route to goal which they took full advantage of.

Overall, can't help but feel we lost this heavily due to Tomasson's decisions. We need a way to be more destructive up front, but for all our pretty passages of play, we don't have it. Not much different to a few seasons ago under Mowbray.

Silly yellow cards for Travis and Brittain, who was absolutely shit again, towards the end when the game was dead. No need. Let it go.

I don't have anything else to add. What a depressing Christmas to be a Rovers supporter. Merry Christmas all the same.
