Why wouldn't he be. His position imo is the original rock and a hard place.Bloody marvellous WTF is Waggott still doing here?

Tony Gale wasn't quite 37 but it was the Prem and he did an ok job for us. Kevin Moran, Sid Cowans, Speedie all past their best rapidly became crowd favourites. All this chap is is an experienced sub.I mean what established club at this level signs a 37!year old past it CB?
Different pace and style of game back then though. Sub, he’s starting today with Hyam in a back fourTony Gale wasn't quite 37 but it was the Prem and he did an ok job for us. One of our glaring weaknesses is in the air. We needed a defensive brute, and we got one. Pace might be an issue, but I think in our current situation we need experienced leaders in the team. You are probably right on the intensity side of the game, but let's see.Different pace and style of game back then though. Sub, he’s starting today with Hyam in a back four
Probably only just met him and wanted to avoid attention! Why was he striding approx 10 yards ahead of a manger who d clearly been from a PR pov set up to walk into the gates?
I agree I actually hope he will be okay but Cov fans thought he was past it last year and it’s a bloody strange signing on paper. One of our glaring weaknesses is in the air. Don’t know. Who is his agent?I saw the video… posted it in Eustace thread.

Greggs departing soon, has another job abroad lined up is what I’ve heard. I also hear a number of January signings were not his and made around him.

Obviously Buckley, Travis and hedges* (I'm thinking he'd been shut out by jdt or he'd shut himself out, otherwise his surprise inclusion today doesn't compute) didn't like him and I'm hearing there are more names on that list.I get the increasing impression that Tomasson was not well-liked within the club. Performances on the pitch suggested it, and the lack of acknowledgement since his departure confirms it to me. Tomasson might have been liked by the supporters, but beyond gaslighting his superiors, I'm struggling to understand why.
I’ve always liked Travis because of his attitude, and I do think it’s tough on defensive midfielders expecting them to be good at both sides of the game when their primary job is to protect the defence. And as a parting opinion - JDT clearly want one and two touch pass and move football - Travis needed 3 at least - couldnt see a pass and is slow - Bravo for moving him on
but easier to replace his desire to use it.Not easy to replace Rothwell's ability.
When he could be botheredNot easy to replace Rothwell's ability.
Yes until they realised they didn’t have to put one on him.In fairness Alan there were occasions when visiting clubs put 2 players on Rothwell.
