All my life I've wanted a youth set up to provide a conveyor belt of talent to the first team squad. Now we have it and I'd say the club was bloody well run and that the business plan is working well. Unfortunately the FOC situation has stiffed us as valuable talent is now in the habit of leaving for nothing. Fair do's we made a bob or two on Armstrong but Rothwell, Lenihan, Phillips and BBD left for nowt when just a few years ago we could have expected 15m or so for them. What we do need most of all is the public to recognise this and fill Ewood to at least 2/3 capacity. Fat chance of that happening though. The Glory hunters have gone to ground.
