It’s nearly Christmas and let us hope that Santa is a Rovers fan and brings us an early present of 3 points at St Mary’s this Saturday. We need a change of luck as Adam Armstrong is hitting top form and our very own Sammy Szmodics appears to be struggling.

Our very own cheerleader Anne Woolacombe will be at the game and you should be able to recognise our sweetheart as she will be donned in blue and white and wearing a Rovers rosette.

OUR VERY OWN CHEERLEADER ANNE WIDGETCOMBE:


I spent a few hours last night grilling our Anne and she predicts. 2-0 victory for the Rovers. My own prediction is also a Rovers 2-0 win; I could not come up with anything else as Anne threatened to eat me alive and share my entrails with the Tory backbenchers.

I will be at Southampton to cheer on the blues. Anne said I could bunk up with her at the local Travelodge but I declined in case I lost one of my legs to a hungry Widdecombe. I have decided to book in at the local french hotel and eatery Lac’anibal. They even put a nutritional chart on the restaurant wall.
