The JW Upper is a bit more protected from the prevalent westerly winds and a bloody sight warmer than the Riverside which is only partly covered.

Bloody hell! No festive season fixtures!!!! Whose going to remunerate the clubs for the loss of bumper Boxing day / NYD fixtures?

"This means that the Championship campaign will begin a week earlier than the current season did, having started on August 7 and will finish on May 6, 2023 which is in line with the current campaign date of May 7.
The Championship will pause fixtures on November 12, with a resumption on December 10"

The announcement of what many fans would consider a "decent managerial appointment" would no doubt have increased season ticket sales.

But this is the Venkys and they aren't suddenly going to go from being utterly clueless to being competent after over a decade of mismanagement.

It will not be Dunny thank goodness.

Sadly our Commercial Dept and Ticket Office are out of synch with what our CEO and Senior Management Team are up to,

PNE have sold 6.5K tickets. My mate who is PNE season ticket holder of many years and a ‘PNE Ambassador’ has decided not to get a ST this coming season as “the Club has no ambition”.

Rovers ST sales to date “are up to pre-pandemic sales” I am told.

Hopefully. My seat is towards the Darwen End of the Jack Walker Upper Row 6 and I think it's seat 78. Anyway it's next to the aisle.

You can always arrange with the Club to use the lift in the JW Reception to take you to the top tier to save you having to walk up the steps.

Thanks but I already have a lift pass. There's one at the corner of the Darwen End and the JW Stand. It's the big aisle steps on the way off that's the problem but I've always managed them in the past if I go a minute or two early or wait until the main crowd has gone. I hate leaving before the end though.

Yes. I was using "David Dunn" more metaphorically to mean any recently ex player that people would not consider to be a decent appointment.

Venkys are absolutely useless in everything they do. As I said, the appointment of a decent manager BEFORE the announcement of season ticket early bird prices would have been what a competent club would have done.

Anyway, there is always Alan Pardew to throw into the mix. :blush:
If one can repeat his name a few times on social media where people claim to be in the know about what is going on behind the scenes (i.e. clueless bullshitters) and I am sure he will be in the top 5 favourites list in no time.

I haven't had any notification about whether Diamond Lounge tickets are even available
What is the new price (how much I can save by buying early)

I am not claiming to be buying a box but I did commit to spending more than most (single ticket) and they haven't even had the decency to update us
