Maybe the World Cup would then have been too close to Ramadan?Bugger! Well spotted ODB. That's speed reading for you. I suppose the downside is that recently we've had great November's and Decembers. Could they not do the WC in Feb?
It will not be Dunny thank goodness. The announcement of what many fans would consider a "decent managerial appointment" would no doubt have increased season ticket sales.
But this is the Venkys and they aren't suddenly going to go from being utterly clueless to being competent after over a decade of mismanagement.
Roll up Roll up! Get your season ticket now before we announce David Dunn as the new manager . . . .
Deadline extended for a week.

Fantastic news Al - hopefully see you down thereRenewed my season ticket today and this time I intend to use it. The last three seasons I have paid for my ticket but not been well enough to use it. I feel it was my contribution. I'm feeling a good bit better now so I hope to be there instead of in front of my tele or my laptop.
You can always arrange with the Club to use the lift in the JW Reception to take you to the top tier to save you having to walk up the steps.Hopefully. My seat is towards the Darwen End of the Jack Walker Upper Row 6 and I think it's seat 78. Anyway it's next to the aisle.
Thanks but I already have a lift pass. There's one at the corner of the Darwen End and the JW Stand. It's the big aisle steps on the way off that's the problem but I've always managed them in the past if I go a minute or two early or wait until the main crowd has gone. I hate leaving before the end though. You can always arrange with the Club to use the lift in the JW Reception to take you to the top tier to save you having to walk up the steps.
Yes. I was using "David Dunn" more metaphorically to mean any recently ex player that people would not consider to be a decent appointment. It will not be Dunny thank goodness.
Sadly our Commercial Dept and Ticket Office are out of synch with what our CEO and Senior Management Team are up to,
