I looked at BRFCS after it made the news the other day and out of interest had a read of the season ticket thread . Wow ! Rovers must have the most negative , moaning , fickle , disloyal fans in the country .

They have a season ticket poll and 70 % aren’t getting a season ticket because of Mowbray and other reasons . So that’s 70% of the main fans forum not putting their hands in their pockets to support the club in the 2021 / 22 season !!!!!!! That beggars belief .

Let’s be honest ( financial difficulties / distance living from the ground / family commitments aside - I understand that ) I bet the majority of that 70% weren’t season ticket holders pre the Premier League and won’t be season ticket holders until ( if / when ) the Rovers get back into the Premier League .

All clubs have those sorts of ‘fans’ , but I bet Rovers have more than their fair share. I’d go further and say if there was a League for fair weather fans we’d win it by April !
You obviously 'bet' a lot ... and slag of fans. Poor, poor form.

I think the individual worth of previous academy lads and the estimated worth of the academy players coming through might have had an input into that err... Kate.

I don't see it as him slagging off fans as much as pointing out their fickle nature and a perceived lack of commitment to the club. Maybe it's partly caused by the massive success of the Walker years, the return to also ran status of the lower leagues and the likelihood of never achieving that level again.

I think he's a right top give his opinions on the 'drop offs'. I'm sure the club wishes there were thousands more OOT's who stump up £900 every season ARA.

Just as a matter of interest what does your support for the club cost you in monetary terms? Not to decry any contributions from afar btw but just to add some perspective.

None of them are welcome at Ewood and should just sell the club and push off now.

Yes I noticed I’d used ‘ bet ‘ twice in my post ARA , I guess I should have re-read it and replaced one of the ‘ bets ‘ with a ‘ guess ‘ or an ‘ imagine ‘ or some such term .

However in accepting your pedantic criticism of my use of the English language , and with all due respect , just let me point out that it’s ‘ slag off fans ‘ not ‘ slag of fans ‘ 👍 .

Anyway onto the ‘meat’ of your post , I make no excuse for criticising Rovers ‘fans’ who , using your terminology, slag of ( sic ) the club online but refuse to put their hands in their pockets and commit to backing the team at Ewood , in what I’m sure is going to be a really difficult season .

Also on the record of the past 5 years who would run the club better and match the same level of investment? subsidy?

Surely not at a cost of an annual 20m loss?

My immediate thought was stop fishing and mind your own fucking business for once in your life.

In truth, now, very little ... historically 1000s including a ST from 1974 until 1992 during a time when I married, had kids, bought a house and for 12 of those years worked mostly abroad.

I've done my time. Thanks.

Only just come across this thread and I think Drog has already mentioned it but from what I recall of Brfcs, the large majority were anti-Allardyce (although not our good mate Jim it has to be said). So it's bloody rich them still kicking off with Venkys. They've less justification than anyone to be annoyed, Venkys simply did as they wanted.

Oh but they didn't bring in Michael Laudrup or one of the other clowns suggested to replace Allardyce, THAT'S where it went wrong 🙄

I've an acquaintance who sums that lot up. Massive lefty, constantly said he'd rather "watch good football in the Championship than hoofball in the Premiership", no longer goes.

Just been on the PNE fans forum . They are a bit bitter at the moment , hoping the wheels come off at Rovers , Brereton gets sold in January and / or Rovers go bust .

However and many of you might have listened to this , I found this under Blackburn Finances 😂 - obsessed ? An interesting interview with a football financial expert on Rovers Chat , prior to AA being sold :
