A little on the same subject amo too has now gone and his account deleted. Before he left he must have thrown a hissy fit again as he appears prone to and has trashed or deleted a number of items. Seems the Politics thread has been deleted, one on ask admin plus at least one member (ODB who he childishly renamed John Doe) and maybe a number of others.
I may explain later (I will if anyone can be bothered to even want to know) but in the meantime if anyone can read this but has had their account deleted and want to be reinstated then then best way I believe is just to re-apply for membership.

Busy now and got to go... more later perhaps.

Although I've been more of a reader than contributor of late, it would be a shame if the community were to pack up and all your hard endeavours went to waste. I don't really know what's gone in the background but hopefully you continue and are able to get the likes of abbey, yoda, preston blue, pink etc on board once again. As a slight aside, I've known Al through this site and t'other for a number of years and hope he's well following his operation and just decided to take a back seat as a consequence of all the nonsense.

I'm sure most will be aware of the situation albeit from one side of the fence only as I've chosen not to air the dirty washing in public. I have been made aware that members have been contacted by yoda and abbey, both had their admin status removed by amo BUT at their own repeated request. However neither are banned nor prohibited from posting on here (or using the PM facility for their own purposes) but it's obvious that both will have an axe to grind with Al and myself who attempted to remain central / neutral in that infantile issue of the 'fat bird'.
Truth is that I've attempted to take a middle of the road stance in all the behind the scenes fall outs in the hope that people would eventually see sense but the ongoing shenanigins would have tried the patience of a saint. Al and I both being subject to abuse from yoda effectively imo for not taking sides.
I'm of the opinion that people will go where they want and that's that. This site was to be a user friendly alternative to the vipers nest that BRFCS had turned in to but it's almost become as bad albeit this time it's all been behind the scenes. A pathetic storm in a teacup has now evolved into a major issue. Of the main protagonists Amo has proven unstable and prone to fits of pique with an opinion on Judaism that is not shared by anyone else on here and he's gone for good. Yoda seems to know and care little about football and more about politics whilst Abbey is a happy bunny just so long as everybody agrees with his entrenched opinions on his pet hates i.e. the venkys, BEB, Allardyce etc plus any who dare to disagree or even choose to support other clubs in the Champions League get sworn at in CAPITALS.
My intention has been for this site to be a little more cerebral than the old BRFCS and attract members on that basis and to a certain extent I believe it has. Unfortunately certain issues are now threatening it's existence. Odd really because most of the gang of five have never even met face to face. How weird is that?

As for me members can take it or leave it. It's not easy now that the others have left (and very time consuming) so if I have to pull the plug because of lack of interest then I will and if so it will be in the fairly near future. It will be a shame for our community but that's life isn't it?

Don’t come the hard done too Gordon, we had many communications re amo, even when starting the forum. I would like to know how I abused you pal, you’re big enough to bat off any criticism. I see you had a little dig about football knowledge, very shallow for an educated man. As for Shaun and I trying to poach members as you suggested in PM’s to amo well that is just nonsense and can easily be verified. Shaun and I repeatedly voiced our concerns over amo and we could not get a collective decision, your main concern being technically exposed over running the forum, which amo played you like a fiddle on. We purposely did not make public comments about the situation after leaving and then one of us started receiving PM’s between the remaining admin (you all obviously did not read who was on the distribution list) Absolutely hilarious some of the suggestions being made without any substance, with Shaun and I holding our council until amo caused the next problem and right on cue he duly obliged. If you and Alan had listened earlier it could have all have been avoided. I know why amo has finally done a runner one hour before it all caught up with him, in the nick of time you could say. It takes a big man to stand up to people but an even bigger one to admit when in the wrong

I will make one last post as Gordon sees fit to bad mouth me n Yoda.
Firstly a history lesson . I started roversfans1875 following the run ins we all had on brfcs. It was developing nicely and then amo came along with "his" stuff . I warned everyone involved what he was like and we moved here.
5 brfcs outcasts and it developed nicely. 5 outspoken and volatile posters..amo had us 4 over a barrel demanding payments for "his" software , this was on top of site fees.
He then became a loose cannon which Gordon and Al backed. The large girl pic was deeper than me being arsy it was all about amo overstepping and abusing his powers and flexing his muscles to show who was "bossman" and he took the piss by showing that as co owner he was the man.
Gordon backed him and let him post his bile ( I will address in a minute)

To your post gord..
1: I have been in contact with people ..some of who are actually mates...funny how you did same when we started up.
Yes I have reopened the original site but dropped the fans rovers1875
2:we asked for admin rights to be removed. This was because we wanted no association with amo..
3: you wanted us banning but denied it . When it became clear I had proof you or your sidekick ip banned us...the stuff you sent showed what you and Al thought of us via PM's that you lot were to naiive to stop including me.
4: as for going on about me and venkyscum etc you are the one that ( can't fathom , although I have suspicion) have gone full u turn and stand with them . Euro stuff yup I can't understand why anyone would want Dingles winning . Allerdyce ha I don't mention him except when you bring him up at every opportunity.
5: you didn't take middle ground you backed amolf especially behind or you thought behind my back
6 : don't make it look like we didn't receive bans from the site I created because we frigging well did.
